Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a globally leading supplier of equipment and tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, crushing, and screening, loading and hauling, tunneling, quarrying and breaking, and demolition.

 We are seeking the following position based in the OT Underground Mine Site:

Data Clerk 

Job Purpose: Receive and process incoming orders for materials, and merchandise. Generally, receives orders via mail, phone, fax, or other electronic means. Duties include informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays and handling complaints.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Data entry, typing, and administrative tasks for the on-site team.
• Collate all work orders and enter details. into SAP
• Enter parts and labor information into Sap
• Monitor labor reports
• Generation of reports as required
• Maintenance of all paper records including regular archiving
• Create ANSI and ANSI reports
• Capture information from work orders such as but not limited to brake wear, bucket measurements, etc.
• Other duties assigned by Direct Manager

• Qualifications in a relative field
• Strong customer service focus and motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals.
• You will be proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrate initiative.
• Surface and underground mining and heavy mobile equipment are desirable.
• Strong and proven safety culture

• Must have a ‘Positive Can do’ attitude
• You must be able to work by roster schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off
